American White Oak Lumber

FPD sources white oak lumber from the Southern, Appalachian, and Northern regions of the USA. Typical thicknesses include 25mm and 50mm, however, other thicknesses may be available upon request. We sell white oak in NHLA approved grades including FAS, FAS/1F, 1 common, 2 common, and 3 common. All of the white oak we offer is kiln dried and rough surfaced.

White Oak Uses

White Oak is a very strong and rot resistant species found throughout the USA. White oak is used in many applications including cabinetry, interior trim, flooring, barrels and staves, veneer, furniture, boats, architectural millwork, moldings, and doors. Our white oaks lumber is sourced from the Appalachian and Northern regions of the US. This species has straight grain with a light to medium brown heartwood and white to light brown sapwood. White oak has a high degree of workability especially with machine tools and maintains a high degree of durability.
