FPD has the capabilities to source red oak logs in large monthly quantities. These logs originate in the southern region of the US (Mississippi). Our red oak logs generally meet the following characteristics:

Defects: All log faces are absent of external defects.

Red Oak Uses
Red Oak is one of the most widely used species of wood in the world. Red oak has a wide range of applications including flooring, furniture, cabinetry, architectural millwork, moldings, doors, paneling, veneer, and joinery. Our red oak logs are sourced from the Southern region of the US. These logs have straight grain with a light to medium reddish-brown heartwood and white to light brown sapwood. Red oak has a high degree of workability especially with machine tools.
